Turning Avocados Into Mousse—Try It For a Sweet Surprise!

That’s right, we said avocados for dessert! Chips and guacamole, OK… sandwiches, yes, but prepared as a sweet? All we can say is, don’t knock it until you try it. It’s light, smooth texture is also a little fluffy. Aside from satisfying taste, avocados are amazingly nutritious. These recipes only have a few ingredients. Toss them into the food processor and smack away guilt-free!

I love a creamy texture, but my stomach doesn’t like dairy. So I have had to eat small amounts of my favorite desserts so as not to up set my stomach too much. Now with these wonderful treats I can have my mousse indulgent with out the dairy consequence.

1) Dark Chocolate Mousse


Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until completely smooth. Spoon into serving dishes and top with cacao nips, sliced strawberries, or whatever you like.

2) Key Lime Pie Mousse


You’ll be amazed just how much it tastes like key lime pie! You can also make mini pies and use it as a no bake filling! Suggested toppings are coconut flakes and lime zest.

3) Raspberry Banana Mousse
