Super Nutritious Smoothies You Can Try This Week!

Here are 5 healthy smoothie recipes to help get your day off  to a good start. Smoothies are a great way to go especially if you are in a hurry. They are quick, easy to make and can be drunk on the go.

You can double or triple the ingredients for a family. To make it even easier you can cut and measure out the fruit and store it in containers or ziplock bags in the refrigerator the night before. Do you want to make it even healthier? Then go organic with all the ingredients it is a lot cheaper than you think.

Liquid Sunshine Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 pealed and diced mango

1 pitted and sliced peach

1 banana

1 cup of almond milk

Put all of the ingredients in the blender. Blend and serve.

Morning Glory Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 Kiwi

1 – 1 1/2 cup silk coconut milk

1 cup papaya

1 cup pineapple

freshly grated ginger

Put all of the ingredients in the blender. Blend and Serve.

 

Beets And Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

1-1 1/2 cups orange juice

1 cup strawberries

1 cup steamed beets

1 cup vanilla flavored yogurt (nondairy option 1 banana)

Put all of the ingredients in the blender. Blend and Serve.

It is a great idea to add beets (great info to use steamed ones). A sneaky way to get those vegetables in for the family.

Blueberry Bliss Smoothie

1-1 1/2 cups Vanilla almond milk

1 cup blueberries

1 banana

1 -2 heaping tablespoons almond butter

Put all of the ingredients in the blender.Blend and Serve.

Adding almond butter for extra protein makes this smoothie a power packed breakfast.

 

The Grape Beyond Smoothie

1-1 1/2 cups green tea (cooled)

1/2 avocado

1 cup green grapes

1 cup Greens like Baby Kale

optional – honey or agave nectar to taste

Put all of the ingredients in the blender. Blend and Serve .
