Salmon is one of my favorite fish to eat. So coming up with ways to eat it is a hobby of mine. These little treats taste so good and are very versatile.

Have you ever tried salmon meatballs on a pizza? NO … well I have and omg I thought I was in heaven. Salmon meatballs on a cheese pizza, you have got to try this. Against the grain pizza – gluten free pizza in the frozen section of the market with salmon meatballs on it and you have a slice of heaven.

We all know that salmon is a good source of  vitamin B12, vitamin D and selenium. As well as niacin, omega-3 fatty acids, protein, phosphorus and vitamin B6.In addition there is choline (for brain function), pantothenic acid, biotin and potassium.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine bread crumbs and milk in mixing bowl. Set aside.
  3. In large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat, add chopped onions and a pinch of salt.
  4. Cook until the onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes Set aside.
  5. In mixing bowl with bread crumb, add egg, fish, seasoning, minced garlic, cooled down onions.
  6. Mix until well combined.
  7. Form into meatballs  Mine are about 1″ in diameter.
  8. Place on cookie sheet and bake in the oven for 15 – 18 minutes.
  9. You can cut one in half to check.
