Shakshouka Will Make You Rethink ‘Easy & Delicious.’ Test It Out Tonight!

Shakshouka, if you’re new to this word, your life is about to get a whole lot better. This is a breakfast dish that originated in Middle Eastern regions somewhere. It’s a spicy, tomato based, egg, single pan dish that is very easy to make.

Eat it with pita bread, serve it over rice or quinoa. However if you want to really go all out for breakfast, serve it over top of fresh pan fried hash browns! Organic of course, don’t get caught up in the “dirty dozen.”

Either way you choose, you are in for a hearty meal. Shakshouka lovers enjoy this dish at any meal of the day.

  • 2 large organic white onions
  • 7 medium sized organic tomatoes
  • organic olive oil
  • 6-7 organic garlic cloves
  • 1 medium sized can of organic tomato paste
  • sea salt
  • organic black pepper
  • organic red pepper (chili and/or cayenne)
  • organic cumin (optional)
  • 8 free ranged organic eggs
